The Key to Unlocking Abundance, Peace, and Joy

Let me start by saying Merry Christmas!

I pray Christmas is an opportunity for you to receive abundance, peace and joy!

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t want abundance, peace and joy…

…and it makes me think about how you get this?

I can use words like a good environment and consistency, but those words don’t quite hit it.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the words strategy, leadership and performance.

I believe these are some of the things required to achieve those 3 gifts.

1. Strategy is the approach you take in order to produce value.

In other words, how you do something or the way you do it in order to achieve something that is important to you.

It differs from a plan such that a plan is the step by step tasks to implement change (or maintain it).

  • What do you value most?
  • What is your strategy moving into the new year?

2. Next we have leadership.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say this again:

“Leadership is living by example.”

Simple.

Irrespective of who is in the room, are you being the best version of yourself for you and for others?

The “example” at a minimum is based on the teaching by Jesus:

“Love your neighbour as you would love yourself”

I quote this all the time, Leo Tolstoy once said:

“Respect should be in the empty place where love should be”

This level of integrity creates a person of substance, and coupled with a good strategy is a killer combo.

It allows the person to be loving yet firm.

What do you need to do to step into the Leader within?

3. And finally we have performance.

Essentially, performance is how well you do something.

That “something” is the measuring stick.

For example, if you own a business what metrics determine how well you do?

This could be things like:

  • Net profit ratios
  • Customer churn rate
  • Internal & external satisfaction scores

There is always a reference we can work with and measure against to determine “how well we are doing for us.”

But in order to measure this, we need to give it a fighting chance to actually measure meaningful results. ????????

  • Have you given up too early on your goals this year?
  • How are you going to measure success?

Strategy. Leadership. Performance.

Think about those for a hot second…

… Whilst stuffing some broccoli in your face.

Merry Christmas!
